Ideas for homemade christmas gift for my mom? gifts for men
I want to show my mom how much I appreciate her and love her.
Last year I took a large poster board, wrote a poem on it, and then put my hand print and my sisters hand print on it. I feel like that was my last idea, I cannot figure out another idea for a gift.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I really like your idea from last year, that is unique and thoughtful… How about a family album, if you think scrap booking may be too feminine you could make her a dvd, if you have the technology tools for that. You could cook her a dinner or make a christmas ornament.

My mother’s birthday is coming in a few weeks, and she’s IMPOSSIBLE to shop for! She enjoys photography, candles, and music. You can find some beautiful picture frames and they’ll need tons of them for all of their new pictures.
My baby sister is getting married next July and I’m trying to come up with a really great gift idea. She got my husband and myself a hot air balloon ride for our wedding. She and her fiance both LOVE music, the Miami Dolphins, movies etc. I was thinking about tickets to a concert or game.. but I’d like other ideas. Grandparents are all about family.Put together a photo album highlighting all the fun times you had with them growing up.
Also find out the song of their first dance was on their wedding day.Buy them the cd, or better yet record yourself singing that song.It won’t matter if you can sing or not, they will be touched by the fact that you went that far for them, for a gift.

is there any way all of you in the family can get together and take them to dinner and then all of you get up and each in turn tell a wonderful story about them that starts with the words
” grandma and grandpa on their 60th anniversary are special to me because…” each person would have written these things down and they would all be put in a book for them.
if you are catholic and have a lot of time try to get a papal blessing from the pope. you would have to contact your church as to how to do that.
sometimes older people dont get out as much, because they cant drive as well, so, i know very well that an outing where they can just sit back and relax and be driven somewhere special would be wonderful for them. give them enuf time to prepare for this, tho. bigger cities have serivices where you can hire a car and driver for the day and just take them somewhere, believe me, it would be a huge treat for them.
when i visit my parents i drive them to different places and there is no end to how thrilled they are.
a 3 day family cruise for everyone in the family is very doable. we did this for my parents 50th, all 30 of us in the family went and they crowned my dad at one point king of the ship.
have a family portrait of all of you dressed in your best with them in front, and have it made and framed quickly for them.

you can use melted chocolate to make a ton of great gift snacks! use it to dip pretzels, strawberries, bananas, dried fruit, marshmallows, rice krispy treats, cookies, etc… just dip whatever you want, lay on a tray or plate lined with wax paper or something similar, decorate with sprinkles to make them look pretty, & refrigerate or freeze til set. you could also use it to make truffle-like desserts (google oreo truffles and cake balls for some good examples). good luck!

If they like mocha you can dip bowls of teaspoons in chocolate to be used when stirring coffee.
All kinds of things can be dipped in chocolate – pretzels, strawberries and lots of other fruits. You could make a platter of different foods dipped in chocolate.

Make Ginger Bread Cookies. You can make them in advance , keep them in the fridge. They are easy to decorate. Go to any cake/candy supply making store. All kind of ideas. Put each in a clear cello bag tie off with raffia/card. Decorate cookie relating to that person . They are a hit

I am new to paypal and Ebay and I recently got an ebay gift card from a friend. I recently attempted to purchase something on Ebay, but every time I entered my gift card’s code it would keep on denying my gift card. Does anybody know what is wrong?

Is your gift card even verify? Maybe your friend gave you a expired Ebay gift card?

That could be a possibility (what ♠JOKER♠ said). Is your PayPal account verified? (Something that you need to do if you sign up with a credit card, but not debit.) And are you punching in the code with the “Pay Now” link, or through PayPal? If you have tried everything, ask your friend if he has the verification recipt from wherever he bought the card. Sometimes stores forget to activate them…
I’ve used gift cards with eBay, and never have run into this problem. I have a verified account, and I’ve paid with the Pay Now link. I hope this helps…

$ 10 is the cheapest. You can get them at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS..lots of places sell them.
I bought myself a $ 25 Gift Card for iTunes so I wouldn’t have to use my credit card to purchase songs. After buying about $ 14 worth of songs I logged out, and a few weeks later when I logged in to the iTunes store again, suddenly the balance is gone! I still had at least $ 10 worth left! Is there some kind of time limit to how long I can use a gift card? Should I report to an Apple worker about this?

You will need to contact customer support through the itunes site, under the support tab. From there you can ask a question about card issues. Which you will then be asked to put in some numbers off of your gift card if you still have it, and type exactly what is you want from them. I did just now, and within seconds my balance was back on itunes.

Clothes for when they’re slightly older. You get sooo many newborn clothes, and they grow out of them in a month or two. If you’re getting clothes get them something that’s for ages around 6 months. They’re in those for a bit longer. I had a lot of all-in-one suits also, so the 2 jackets I got were really appreciated.
If they don’t already have one a Jolly Jumper maybe. I think this was my favourite gift and my daughter loved it and it gave me a bit of time to get things done.
I’m not sure I can think of any more “useful” presents, because I think most parents already have the essentials.

i found the swing usefull because he would be someplace safe for me to eat lunch or use the bathroom.

i never had a shower with any of my 6 kids, we would just invite the family and friends over to meet the baby and have a good ol potluck and swap baby items. but my mom would always get me something special like a handmade afghan or a baby book, and my grandma would always sew or crochet something for eachone. that gift was always my favorite, i still have each item for them in a hope chest.
